All Members of the Parish Council are hereby summoned to attend the Parish Council meeting to be held on Thursday 9th September 2021 starting at 7:00pm at Dadlington Village Hall, The Green, Dadlington for the purpose of transacting the business shown below.

  1. SUTTON CHENEY BINS
    1. To consider the request to rescind minute 171/21 to locate the new post mounted bins on Twenty Acre Lane and The Square, Sutton Cheney due to a change in location
    2. In line with the resolution 6(a), to consider locating the new post mounted bins at The Square and the Royal Arms Car Park next to the PROW access point

 

  1. TRAINING
    1. To consider Cllr Pritchard to attend Budgeting and Financial Management training by LRALC
    2. To consider Cllr Copson to attend Budgeting and Financial Management training by LRALC
    3. To consider Cllr Jarvis to attend Chairman training by LRALC
    4. To consider Cllr Copson to attend Chairman training by LRALC
    5. To consider reimbursing the cost of Cllr Mayne attending the Chairman training on 9th September
    6. In line with resolutions 7(a)-7(e), to consider a budget virement to cover extra costs to training

    1. To consider the creation of Finance Committee for Sutton Cheney Parish Council
    2. In line with the resolution of agenda item 8(a), to receive nominations and election of members to the Finance Committee for the ensuing year
    3. To consider adopting the draft terms of reference for the Finance Committee

 

  1. PARISH COUNCIL PROCEDURES
    1. To consider amending Item 7a in Sutton Cheney Parish Council’s Standing Orders requiring at least 4 Councillors to reverse a Council decision
    2. To consider adopting the Scheme of Delegation
    3. To receive nominations to represent Sutton Cheney Parish Council at LRALC’s AGM on 18th September

    1. To discuss latest correspondence from LCC Highways regarding future steps to tackle rural speeding across the Parish

    1. To note an update on the Royal Arms development
    2. To discuss report detailing future options regarding Sutton Cheney Community Space

    1. To consider quotes for three Parish noticeboard refurbishments
  1. To consider quotes to undertake the tree work required on Dadlington Village Green and Sutton Cheney Allotments as outlined in the LCC Tree Survey
  2. To consider quotes to replace the batteries for MVAS in Sutton Cheney and Dadlington

    1. To consider approving the financial statement for June 2021

  1. CLOSED SESSION - HR COMMITTEE
    1. In accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 section 1 paragraph 2 to consider excluding the public and press for the following items for the reason that matters appertain to staff employment and are of a confidential nature.
      1. To note the draft minutes from HR Committee meeting held on 15th July 2021
      2. To consider the recommendation to adopt the draft HR Committee terms of reference following an amendment to paragraph 2.3
      3. To consider the recommendation of the Clerk’s salary changes in accordance with job contract and NALC/SLCC national salary awards
      4. To note change to the Clerks working hours

      5. Members of the Public are welcome to attend the meeting, to ask questions and to comment on items within this agenda with the consent of the Chairman. In accordance with The Openness of Local Government Bodies Regulations 2014, photographs, audio and video recordings of the meeting and of those attending may be taken at the meeting by the press and others.
