Welcome to Sutton Cheney Parish Council's Website
Located within rural Leicestershire, Sutton Cheney Parish Council forms the lowest tier of local government and have responsibility for delivering a number of public services to the villages of Dadlington, Sutton Cheney and Shenton. We also represent the views and concerns of local residents to other public bodies including Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council, Leicestershire County Council and the Leicestershire Police & Crime Commissioner.
There are currently 401 electors living within the Parish covering an area of approximately 7 square miles. The Council comprises of 7 local Councillors who are elected to represent the 3 wards of Dadlington, Shenton and Sutton Cheney. Each are locally based and are passionate about making the Parish a great place to live, work and play.

Census Day is Sunday 21 March 2021. This census is being done digitally because of the coronavirus pandemic. You’ll receive an invitation pack in the post that will guide you to the online form. The form can be completed on a phone, tablet or desktop computer.
Your support matters
By taking part and encouraging others to do the same, you’ll help to make sure your community gets the services it needs. We need your help to reach as many people as possible in Census 2021. No one knows your community better than you. Support from trusted local leaders and community representatives is vital in helping to make sure people take part.
