Parish Council Meetings
Meetings of Sutton Cheney Parish Council are held on the second Thursday of the month, except for July and December.
Meetings start promptly at 7:30pm and venues alternate between Dadlington, Shenton and Sutton Cheney. However, due to current Covid-19 restrictions, meetings are currently being held online using Zoom.
The agenda is published three clear working days prior to the meeting and the decisions are recorded in minutes. Supporting documents can be located on the Calendar or on the Documents page.
Please note that no business can be formally agreed (resolved) if it does not appear on the agenda.
Members of the Public are welcome to attend the meeting, to ask questions and to comment on items on the agenda with the consent of the Chairman. In accordance with The Openness of Local Government Bodies Regulations 2014, photographs, audio and video recordings of the meeting and of those attending may be taken at the meeting by the press and others.
You are invited to contact the Clerk of the Council if you have any questions or matters of concern that you would like the Council to address, allowing 5 clear days of the meeting date.
Upcoming Parish Council Meetings
Public Participation
Members of the public are very welcome to attend Council meetings and listen to the debate for any part (or all) of the meeting. To encourage public participation, the Council offers an open session at the start of the meeting for members of the public to comment or raise questions on any agenda item. Members of the public can not form part of the debate during the meeting, unless a point of clarification is required. This will only be initiated through the Chair.
Any issues which members of the public want to raise with the Parish Council should be brought to the attention of the Clerk at least 5 days prior to a Parish Council meeting. Please contact the Clerk for further details.
