NatureSpot is a Leicestershire based registered charity (1138852) established in 2009 with the aim of promoting the wildlife and wild places of Leicestershire and Rutland as well as increasing public awareness local biodiversity. 

Our aims are:

• To help the public to identify local wildlife and to learn about the natural environment
• To create, with public participation, an online showcase of the wildlife and wild places of Leicestershire and Rutland
• To encourage and facilitate wildlife recording
