Welcome to Dadlington & Sutton Cheney Parish Council's Website
Located within rural Leicestershire, Dadlington & Sutton Cheney Parish Council forms the lowest tier of local government and have responsibility for delivering a number of public services to the villages of Dadlington, Sutton Cheney and Shenton. We also represent the views and concerns of local residents to other public bodies including Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council, Leicestershire County Council and the Leicestershire Police & Crime Commissioner. There are currently 424 electors living within the Parish covering an area of approximately 7 square miles. The Council comprises of 7 local Councillors who are elected to represent the 3 wards of Dadlington, Shenton and Sutton Cheney. Following a Community Governance Review in 2022, it was agreed that in May 2023, this number will be increased to 8 Councillors, with 4 Ward Councillors in Dadlington to grant better governance and representation.
